Asus Update Ultrabook Collection With Prime Zenbook

Asus released a series ultrabook Zenbook Prime in Indonesia at the launch event on Thursday (6/21/2012) in Jakarta. Two models are introduced to the market ground water is Zenbook Prime UX31A and UX21A.

Compared to its predecessor Zenbook series, two new ultrabook This has the advantages of using Intel processors Corei Third Generation ("Ivy Bridge") and screen In-Plane Switching (IPS) with full-HD resolution or 1920x1080.

Prime Zenbook UX21A is ultrabook with 11.6-inch screen sizes, while Zenbook Prime UX31A has 13.3-inch screen. Both are equipped with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a SSD storage media capacity of 256GB.

Both of these have an extra dimension ultrabook thin with a maximum thickness of only 9 mm. Zenbook  Prime UX21A weighs 1.1 kg, while the Zenbook Prime UX31A slightly heavier at 1.3 kg figure.

The price set by Asus, for both ultrabook premium is quite high. Applicants must spend of U.S. $ 1629 for Zenbook Prime UX21A, while Zenbook Prime UX31A can be redeemed at a price of 1729 U.S. dollars.

Gaming Notebook
At the same event, Asus launched two gaming notebook "G-Series" G75VW3D and G55VW3D. Both notebooks are aimed at gamers who want to play wherever they are equipped display capabilities of 3D effects.

Asus G75VW3D has a size of 17.3 inch monitor (1920x1080), while G55VW3D using 15.6-inch screen-resolution of 1366x768.

Both G55VW3D and G75VW3D equipped with quad-core processors Intel Core i7-3610M graphics processor and provides a choice of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M or GeForce GTX 670M and DDR3 memory between 8 to 16 GB.

The price? 2129 dollars for G55VW3D and 2429 U.S. dollars for G75VW3D.

Slimbook
In addition to mobile computers in the high-end, Asus has also released an entry-level notebook series called "Slimbook". Although not of the type ultrabook, as the name implies, the notebook is included in this series has a size that is thinner than other notebooks in general.
