Sony Vaio E11, Affordable Notebook

Sony Vaio E11 unveiled its presence in Indonesia. Devices with AMD E2 processors has an affordable price.

Vaio E11 is the first device in Indonesia that use AMD E2 processors accelerated processing unit (APU) 2012 edition.

Hermawan Sutanto, Country Head AMD Indonesia, said the product is expected to meet the needs of users for their daily needs at affordable prices.

"But, as always, we offer a more premium features of its class on the market," said Hermawan.

Such features, he added, is the AMD Radeon graphics capabilities are already integrated in it. AMD E2 has mentioned class graphics processor Radeon HD 7000.

The existence of Radeon graphics capability that is said will help the performance of applications that require high graphics capabilities. In addition, non-graphical applications can be benefited through OpenCL technology.

OpenCL, said Hermawan, allowing non-graphical application utilizing graphics processor (GPU) to boost the performance of the application.

Some of the applications already support the OpenCL including Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Flash and graphics applications from Corel.

Leo Marathon, Product Manager of Sony Indonesia, said Vaio E11 will be bundled with Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 software full version.

Sony, says Leo, also adds features such as webcam for PC Exmor technology, audio technology xLoud and Clear Phase and touchpad with Gesture Control.
