The New iPhone Screen More Big and Thin

The latest iPhone generation, which will probably be named the iPhone 5, constantly buffeted by rumors. This time it appears the video that gives clues about the size of the iPhone 5 screen.

Since its launch in 2007, iPhone always equipped with 3.5-inch screen. However, for iPhone 5, Apple is reportedly going to change the screen size to be larger, which is 4 inches.

In a video uploaded to YouTube on Friday (03.08.2012), iPhone5Parts.net forum pointed out, the display panel which is claimed to be the iPhone 5 component, and then compared with the iPhone 4S display panel.

iPhone 5 screen look longer. When measured, iPhone 5 screen size is 4.065 inches. If the iPhone 4S aspected 4:3 ratio, the aspect ratio of iPhone 5 is converted to 16:9.

Screen panel is also 10 percent thinner than the iPhone 4S.

In line with the growing rumors, formerly the front camera on the left speaker hole was moved to the top of the speaker hole.

Home button is located below the screen is also designed smaller. iPhone 4S home button is not compatible when paired to the iPhone 5 display panel.

On September 12, Apple will hold an event in California, USA. According to the growing rumor, Apple will use that moment to release the iPhone 5.

  1. Thank you for your post. It intrigues me to see what Apple will do this coming 12th to release a new phone. My biggest concern is the damage I can inflict on these delicate phones.
