Canon Prepare DSLR with Touch Screen?


As the product is intended for those already experienced, the camera is kind of Digital Single Lens Reflex or DSLR rarely include features for a novice user.

However, Canon is likely to change that trend with a touch screen to install the new DSLR will be launched in June 2012.

As quoted from TechRadar, Canon DSLR cameras reportedly is preparing a beginner class (entry level) to replace the EOS 600D camera is already 15 months old. Judging from the habits of the Canon, the camera will be equipped with a touchscreen is likely to be called the EOS 650.

The touch screen allows the camera to the EOS 650 is doing things that previously could only be done by a pocket camera, such as choosing the location of the focus and take pictures with the touch of a finger making it easier for users, especially beginners.

If true, the EOS 650 DSLR will be the first device with a touch screen.

Additional capabilities that will allegedly owned this camera include continuous focus alias continuous Auto Focus when shooting through the LCD display (live view) and video recording. It is also a new feature on the Canon line of DSLR cameras.

Other specifications include 18-megapixel sensor and auto-focus sensor point 9 worked with all types of cross-type. Not yet known whether the sensor is a new type or derived from 18-megapixel sensor which previously has been used in some previous Canon cameras, like EOS 7D and EOS 60D.

In addition to the EOS 650D, Canon also plans to introduce other new camera in June, is expected from the type of mirrorless.
