Thanks to The New processor, Ultrabook Future More Affordable

Although thin and lightweight, laptop type "Ultrabook" still not very popular because the price is too expensive for the pockets of consumers, especially in Indonesia.

However, it will soon change because Ultrabook cheaper version is being prepared.

Intel, the microchip giant heavily promoting Ultrabook, will launch Celeron processor Ultra-Low-Voltage (ULV) type 877 and 807 are each valued 86 and 70 U.S. dollars.

Much cheaper than the Core i7-3720QM for 378 dollars that is used by upper class Ultrabook.

Intel Celeron processor 807 uses a core that works at a speed of 1.5 GHz, while the Celeron 877 is a dual-core processors (dual-core) 1.4 GHz speed.

Frills "ULV" on the new processor refers to the so-called low-power consumption of only 17 watts. Both have a base architecture "Sandy Bridge" and is made with 32 nm fabrication process.

With these cheap processors, manufacturers can push the price Ultrabook to 700 U.S. dollars or about Rp 6.5 million when the product is a laptop with two processors is scheduled to slide the first time in the third quarter of this year.

In late 2012 or early 2013, the price range could reach 600 U.S. dollars or about Rp 5.5 million.

Furthermore, Intel also reportedly encouraged the use of new types of batteries for Ultrabook by depressing prices. One is the Prismatic lithium-ion battery is very thin and has been used in limited amounts in the Lenovo IdeaPad 530 Ultrabook hers.

In the segment of low-cost laptop, Intel faces competition from AMD is carrying the A-10 series "Trinity" through thin laptop "Ultrathin". Ultrathin Laptop mentioned will be sold at a price of U.S. $ 600 range.
