Lumia 900 Sale Half Price in The U.S.

Nokia cut prices smartphone's Lumia 900, in the United States (U.S.). Just three months was released in the U.S., Lumia 900 price cut in half from 99 U.S. dollars to 49.99 U.S. dollars.

Lumia 900 that discount were sold by cellular operator AT & T. Customers who purchase a subscription is required AT & T cellular service for 2 years. This system is commonly called the contract system.

"Cutting prices is part of life cycle management of our ongoing, carried out jointly between Nokia and the customer service," said Nokia spokesman Keith Nowak, as quoted by Reuters on Sunday (7/15/2012).

Lumia 900 runs with Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) from Microsoft. He reinforced with single-core 1.4GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4.3-inch landscape display, 16GB internal memory, and battery capacity 1.830mAh.

Another feature, this smartphone equipped 8MP censor camera with Carl Zeiss 28 f/2.2 and the front camera, and to support 4G LTE network.

Unfortunately, Lumia 900 that runs with Windows Phone 7.5, certainly can not be updated to the operating system Windows Phone 8. This is due to differences in the core program (kernel) between the two operating systems. Kernel in charge of organizing the course of a variety of applications to be accessible by the hardware.

Windows Phone 7.5 uses the Windows CE kernel, while Windows Phone 8 using Windows NT kernel, a kernel is also used in Windows 8 operating system for personal computers and tablet.
