Latest Nokia Asha Without Keypad

Three series phones Nokia Asha released in Jakarta on Monday (09/07/2012) equipped with an entirely new look to rely on input from the user's finger movement.

Unlike the previous series of Nokia Asha, the third Asha series namely Asha 305, Asha 306, and Asha 311, has no physical keyboard. The operating system used still have the same basis, the Series 40.

"The issue of navigation, users simply move the finger and do a gesture like swiping or flick to move between menus that appear on the screen," says Martin Chirotarrab, President of Nokia Indonesia.

Asha Nokia user interface display is similar to the Android OS and IOS interface with rows of large icons that represent functions and program the phone. On the main screen menu available pull-down tab on the top side contains a list of shortcuts to important functions.

To support this functionality touchscreen interface, Nokia complements Asha 305 and Asha 306 resistive touchscreen display with 3-inch wide.

"Meanwhile, for Asha 311, has a capacitive touchscreen display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass so scratch resistant," said Irwan Hermawan, Product Manager Nokia Indonesia.

Irwan claimed that Asha series phones have smartphone functionality that can no longer be categorized as a "feature phone" ordinary, such as the classification of these types of mobile phones in general.

Asha series itself is the product of Nokia's target market segments middle-down. To add interest, Asha, Nokia bundle 40 free application along with Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311. The plan has three cell phones can be found in Indonesia starting this month.
